Transpose Controls Not Visible

If you cannot see the transpose controls, it usually means the app assumes the song consists of lyrics only and contains no chords. This happens automatically if the Key field was left blank when the song was first added.

To activate the transpose controls, please follow these quick steps:

  1. Open your song and tap the Edit (Pencil) icon at the top of the screen.
  2. Locate the Key field in the form and type your song's original key (e.g., Am, G, C, Dm7).
  3. Confirm your changes by tapping the Save button.

Once the app detects that the song has a base key, simply tap the Settings (Gear) icon while viewing the song; transpose controls will become visible instantly!
